Vesak Day, an annual holiday celebrated commonly in Asia was just a bit more than a week ago. Living in a multi-cultural society my Godfather suggested we do some visiting to learn more about this holiday. We did a few of the common practices during our trip like bathing the baby Buddha and placing the lotus flower into a whole array of other similar ones and making a wish simultaneously when performing both these customs. It was indeed an interesting visit and experiencing and learning more about a different culture.Karen bathing the Baby Buddha
