Top 10 Singles For 2009

As the year draws to a close, I like to remember the events and people that have inspired, disappointed, made me happy or sad and so on. Because everything (be it good or bad) happens for a reason.

But first I would like to countdown the singles of 2009 that I have been addicted to. These are the tracks that have been unplugged! They've been playing continuously on my Itunes, in my car and in my head! Not only that, these are also the songs that I anticipate to be played when I'm in a club and wanna dance to!

Music has always been a safe haven when I've had a bad day and a source to evaporate my anxieties or insecurities. Hence, to reflect on the music that have had an impact on my year was just an instinct I had to follow!

Now Is The Time (Ho Ho Ho)

Our Divine Messiah's birthday is here, compliments of the season folks! Carols are awesome ear candy to me!

I enjoyed the homes of friends and families that I had the opportunity to visit. The outfit changes was also a fun part of the whole package and surprisingly I was very spontaneous when deciding what to wear to each occasion. Thanks to everyone for their gifts; the thought and effort put in is more than I could have asked for.

On a side note, some friends have mentioned they find it hard to find a gift for me because they feel I would find it to not be good enough... WHAT?! HAHA. When Debbie passed me the gift she got me, she thought I had a "judgemental" look! I actually thought it was good since it was a TOPMAN gift card and hence I get to choose what I want rather than exchange it! Lol!

I also like to mention that my No Doubt/ Gwen Stefani collection has officially been completed on Christmas night when Addison and I exchanged gifts and I opened the Harajuku Lovers Live DVD, Alleluia!

Merrily On High!

Attended another Christmas party with the Lectors from Church!

We normally have turkey every year but not this one. However, we did sing Christmas Carols which was such a joy. I just enjoy listening to them and feeling the spirit of the season. Then came the games. I was the Game Master and hence I prepared one of my favourites, Taboo! Except this was a Christmas special that I found online.

Headed to Chevy after to meet Cor, KP and Princess Shakthi! We had some heart-to-heart conversations and though we can hardly speak with the Princess around, it's always such a pleasure to be in her company! HAHA.

It was indeed a very long and tiring weekend but I survived like I always have! Joy to the World!

Video Clip On Demand (December)

The Video Clip on Demand for December is taken from the Pilot episode of Glee.

I picked these clips because it brings back fond memories of my days in St Patrick's School. I was in the English Literary Debate and Drama Society (ELDDS), and I distinctly remember the reason I had joined it along with my many other CCAs; I didn't want to leave school having not accomplished anything I could be proud of.

I was on a drive to fulfill duties and expectations and surpass distances I was not even sure I was capable of accomplishing. However tough it was, I wanted to do it or at least try at the very most. I enjoyed acting and dancing with my best friends Addison and Corey and watching the clip "Don't Stop Believing" only brought me back to the past when the 3 of us would perform dance items for school concerts and CCA events.

That wave of fear and excitement waiting backstage just before performing is something I miss! This nostalgic element accompanies the show every time I watch it, and it's always a good feeling!

Due to restrictions, I was unable to upload the Video on here. However, it is on my YouTube channel.

TGIF!!!

Signum Fidei meeting and CJ's birthday luncheon at Parkway Parade in the afternoon. Lector's Dinner meeting in the evening. And the Supper Club afterwards. FYI, I had not hit a club since Halloween! It was so refreshing to go there again and enjoy the cool drinks and music; spending quality time with your homies and being there through the break-ups, make-ups and meet-ups. Yes folks, and this is what I call TGIF! Enjoy the photos and captions.

Ya'll know what Mel's hungry for?!

Corey might know! I wonder what is so amusing?! HAHA

Men surrounding Corey? (Rah-rah-ah-ah-ah)

Roma- Roma-ma (Gaga Ooh Lala) Want your Bad Romance!

I spy with my lil eye. . .

Fire Burning on the dancefloor! or Murder?
